The area between Krakow and Częstochowa is one of the most beautiful places in Poland. The Cracow-Częstochowa Highlands, commonly referred to as Jura, is part of the vast Silesian-Krakow Highlands. The length of the range stretching from the vicinity of Wielenia to Krakow is 160 km, with an average width not exceeding 20 km.

Jura is also a unique polish scale, extremely rich and diverse plant. It was created thanks to a varied sculpture of the terrain, various substrates and microclimate. On the Jura, plant species characteristic of completely different areas of north, south, east or west of Europe, as well as Asia, grow side by side.

The beginnings of the existence of the Municipality of Kroczyce are considered the First Year. The 19th century, however, in its historical traditions dates back to the Middle Ages.
